2008- I ran a 10K and a couple of 5K's I guess you could say I'm a newborn runner.
2009- Finished the Hobble Creek 1/2 and the Provo River 1/2 And have done 3 more 5k's
2010 Got my PR with the Salt Lake City 1/2 marathon!!
2010 Ran my first marathon!! TOU! Woo Woo!
2011 ran the Salt Lake 1/2 with my brother. Then a few 5k's
2012 Salmon Marathon
Short-Term Running Goals: Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent. Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me. Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

| | 5 miles around the neighborhood today. Im not promoting here but i drank an efusjon edge before i went today, thats the energy drink with a shot of caffeine and i felt like the energizer bunny. I think i may be on to something here. Today im taking the kids to the museum of natural history up at the U and i think i may need to drink another one before i leave. Days like this are exhausting, I dont know why we moms think its fun to put ourselves through things like this. Then tomorrow i have another 4th grade field trip to go on all day long. I think on wednesday i may just stay in bed all day. | Comments(2) |
| | Wow, is it already thursday??? How did that happen, tues. i planned on not running, wed. i wore my running clothes all day bc i was going to go at any time and it didnt ever happen and now its already thursday!! Last week of school is chaotic. Im in a tired blurr right now. Today was a good run though, went down hill for the 1st mile and then the next 3.5 were a gradual up hill with some really steep up hills and then a 1/2 mile down to finish. Good workout, then i came home and rushed to a Kindergarten graduation and now im sitting here falling asleep. | Comments(1) |

| | Ran from Erins to mom and dads and they drove us home. Couldnt go until 11:00, the temp was decent, it was just sun beating down on you. Plus we were running into a headwind. Heart of Holladay (3.1 Miles) 00:29:10 | | Hey ran a 5k today, perfect weather. cool and cloudy but no rain. Plus I did it in under a 10 minute mile, so for me thats really good!! Ran it with Gretch who did it in 37 min and Erin who did it in 30 min. They gave us the good running shirts rather than the T-shirts, which is good bc I thought this race was expensive, so its good we at least got that. So now I have a new expectation for myself which feels really good, so CONGRATULATIONS to me!! | Comments(4) |

| | Did speed work today at the track. Havent been back since I hurt my ankle, it went well. Did 2 miles of warm up and then sprinted the straights and walked the turns. Did this for 2 or so miles and then did a couple of cool down laps. It felt good. I dont sweat as much doing this as I do on a regular run, so it makes me wonder if its doing as much, but I guess I will feel it later right? | | I hit the pillow and my alarm went off. I didnt move once so I felt a little hungover for the 1st mile or so, then I got a little bit of a high and was able to go a little faster, but then slowed down again. Ive been feeling a cold coming on so maybe thats why. My garmin wouldnt track the time today, it just paused at 9:56 but it would track my miles, so what the crap?? Im charging it right now, I REALLY hope its not broken. Has yours ever done anything like that?? | Comments(1) |

dont know how much i can get in this week. Woke up with a horrible headache, went back to bed. Feels better but is still there. Going out of town wed. evening, that is if im not puking. Good luck to you, hope you have a good week.

| | I felt good this morning so I thought I better take advantage of this window before I leave to Island Park tonight. Met Erin and did a mile warm up and then four 400 meter hill's then ran the rest at normal pace and ended on another hill. Going to try and run while out of town but were going to friends cabin and I dont know the deal until I get there. Good luck with your miles this week! | Add Comment |
| | 3 is all that running could get out of me today. Im feeling beat from the trip and probably weak from so many days off in a row. I was only able to go on two 3 mile speed walks with my girlfriends while up at the cabin. Time, kids and lack of sleep made sure of that.
