My first 1/2 Aug. 9, 2008 2:16.12

2008- I ran a 10K and a couple of 5K's  I guess you could say I'm a newborn runner.

2009- Finished the Hobble Creek 1/2 and the Provo River 1/2  And have done 3 more 5k's

2010 Got my PR with the Salt Lake City 1/2 marathon!!

2010 Ran my first marathon!! TOU! Woo Woo!

2011 ran the Salt Lake 1/2 with my brother. Then a few 5k's

2012  Salmon Marathon
 

 

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent.  Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me.  Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

unfortunatley i did not get a work out in today. Fridays are really hectic with the kids, i realize thats not an excuse. I shouldve gotten up an hour earlier. Better luck tmrw

im feeling like a real slacker reading everyone elses blogs..it it okay that i just run 5 miles a day instead of 10? or two 6's? or what everyone else is doing?? Everyone is so hardcore!

30 minutes on the eliptical today, is that all?  if im counting miles by distance on the eliptical, than i guess it would be 3 since im still about a 10 min mile

3 mile run and 70 minutes of yoga. I was having a stressful day, so a quick run and some deep relaxing breathing did it for me today.
