2008- I ran a 10K and a couple of 5K's I guess you could say I'm a newborn runner.
2009- Finished the Hobble Creek 1/2 and the Provo River 1/2 And have done 3 more 5k's
2010 Got my PR with the Salt Lake City 1/2 marathon!!
2010 Ran my first marathon!! TOU! Woo Woo!
2011 ran the Salt Lake 1/2 with my brother. Then a few 5k's
2012 Salmon Marathon
Short-Term Running Goals: Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent. Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me. Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

| | I wish I could say I went further but then I would be lying. Nice run though, worked more on lifting up my feet and leaning. I go much faster when I just lift my feet just a little bit more, but in turn that makes me tired more quickly. Its all good though. Its just a juggling act, thats all it is. |

| | little 3 miler jaunt. And since I'm now a jugallo by profession, Im getting better at the juggling act. Feels pretty good, although Im having a hard time typing right now bc my hands are still cold. Nice wintery day out there. Gorgeous with the colored leaves and the snow though. |

yesterday I was on loritab bc I had some cancer spots burned off my face. I know that may sound extreme {the loritab i mean} but I hate the pain of that soo bad and it causes me serious anxiety. So I was too out of it to run for awhile and then I was just ornery coming off of it so I went to bed and then got ready for a Halloween party. So no run. Today I squeezed in a 3 miler. My splits were faster than normal. And by fast, I know its not compared to all of you but for me it was. I was 9:21, 9:28 and 9:17. I really think its the chi. Just being aware of my form and posture just naturally speeds your body up even without trying. Now I have to go get my kids ready for another Halloween party, followed by another Halloween party tonight, and tomorrow is really Halloween and sunday I think I may burn everything Halloween. |

Beautiful day, felt good until mile 3.5, I was running up a hill and had the sudden urge to have a potty break so I had to stop and walk for awhile, Doesnt help that Ive eaten chili 3 nights in a row at Halloween parties. So the last mile was a run/walk until I could get home.
Glad I got a run in today though, should help everything else go smoothly today. |
