Short-Term Running Goals:

Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent.  Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me.  Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

ran on the draper trail in the rain. My pants got soaked and so at the turn around point i took them off, dont worry, i had on my compression shorts under them. So needless to say i was alot less weighed down and the last 3 were much easier. Plus i think i was so wet at that point i didnt think about being wet anymore. Kept getting whiffs of the lilac bushes when the wind would blow a certain way, i LOVE that smell. And it was fun to see all of my fellow runners out there with me, probably training for something, or just having to have the feeling of a good run. GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

Wow, awesome week Lysa!

I'm such a wimp when it comes to running in the rain. I put the run off till this afternoon hoping the rain calms down a little by then.

Which trail in Draper? The one right off of 1300 East? I love that trail!!!

Great running! If you are that close, you should come and run with us sometime!!!

We ran it a few weeks ago and started at the park. We ran all the way to the point of the mountain (where the trail ends) and back. It is 6 miles out and 6 miles back.
