Short-Term Running Goals:

Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent.  Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me.  Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep Running and  Never Give up!

Personal:

Married, 4 kids, started running to lose mommy weight and have alone time. Now I run bc of EVERYTHING

strength, sanity, awareness, confidence, attitude, health, peace, life, and Because I CAN

did an hour of yoga and ran around the block for 1 mile to test out my ankle. It still HURTS! Ive pin pointed where it is injured or hurt now that the swelling is down. Its on the inside of my left ankle bone. I dont know what else to do, I cant just not run. And i dont want to hurt it more either. I dont think its any kind of fracture, just a pulled or torn something. Im not sure. Could a doctor even be able to tell? In the mean time, im really frustrated. Icing it now and maybe ill try again tomorrow. Have a 5 K on saturday and i DONT want to walk it.

Hang in there Lysa. Go easy on your ankle and hopefully by Saturday you will be ready to go. If not, oh well. There's a 5k every weekend.

there is a 5k every weekend but not one where aaron coleman will be at and the rest of my family.. i have points to prove! im having a hard time finding a 10k for June. I found an 8k, but it wont let me log onto the link. so go easy?? do you mean dont run? or just run slow?

Don't run if it doesn't feel right.

Is Coleman running the 5k? I want to run against that punk someday! Runs a half marathon with no training...sheesh!

james, he is running it bc its for "deafies" and his wife is the guest speaker or something like that. you know they do those signing times videos? So anyway, he said he wasnt planning on running it until he found out i was going to be there so now he wants to beat me. BTW, i was thinking of doing the deseret news 10k July 24th. never done it, might be fun

Yes, I know about Signing Times. Rachel is amazing and those two have done a really good job with their talents!

Deseret News 10k seems to be calling to me, so yeah! Tell Aaron to run it too. (Actually, don't tell him until july 23rd, I don't want him training for it or anything...).
