Short-Term Running Goals:

Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent.  Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me.  Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep Running and  Never Give up!

Personal:

Married, 4 kids, started running to lose mommy weight and have alone time. Now I run bc of EVERYTHING

strength, sanity, awareness, confidence, attitude, health, peace, life, and Because I CAN

Alot of fun, I thought I did pretty well, I think I beat my last time but im not positive. Scott did it in 23 minutes so pretty much I want to kill him. His idea of training is to do nothing for a month and then go run up Mt. Olympus as fast as he can and then go do a 5k and beat everyone. What a total punk. My daughter Izzy took 3rd in her age division and got a medal so that was fun for her. My other daughter got sick to her stomache so she walked and came in around 45 minutes. I felt bad for her but when she got to the last stretch Gretch and I ran in with her and  held her hands up and cheered, she was kind of mad bc she hates attention, but we were trying to help her feel good about it. She was smiling even though she kept saying to stop. But it was a fun way to start out the 4th!! Good times.

Good pace Lysa! That's a huge pr for you. Your last 5k was a 9:25 average pace per mile, this one was 9:00! You rock!

Scott and Aaron need to race each other...

Great job! And congrats to your daughters! What is it with kids and getting sick during races? My son goes green. And we saw a 12 year old vomit as she finished today. I guess they know how to push it!!!

have a great rest of the day!
