Short-Term Running Goals:

Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent.  Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me.  Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

Keep Running and  Never Give up!

So this was supposed to be a 5K but the people in charge of telling us when to turn around were like 8 years old and they didnt tell anyone to turn around, so we kept going. I had my garmin on so i knew we had gone too far, but i just followed the croud. Anyway, it ended up being an extra mile. It was fun though. And the BEST news is, my ankle didnt bug me at all!! So it was worth all the time off. Im so happy!

Very good news about your ankle Lysa!

Who organised this race? Seems a little lame too leave the responsibility of directing runners on the course to children...

Nice job! Did "Punk Coleman" show up?

coleman wasnt there, his kid had a soccer game. But i saw his wife! It was really poorly organized, but it was still alot of fun. gretchen and her hubby walked it, Cameron walked it and my girls walk/ran it. Erin and i ran it. And my cousin was there, so it was a party. My parents showed up to cheer us on, so it was fun regardless of the organization or lack thereof.
