2008- I ran a 10K and a couple of 5K's I guess you could say I'm a newborn runner.
2009- Finished the Hobble Creek 1/2 and the Provo River 1/2 And have done 3 more 5k's
2010 Got my PR with the Salt Lake City 1/2 marathon!!
2010 Ran my first marathon!! TOU! Woo Woo!
2011 ran the Salt Lake 1/2 with my brother. Then a few 5k's
2012 Salmon Marathon
Short-Term Running Goals: Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent. Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me. Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

| | Freaking cold. My legs are sore from yesterday. I am walking funny but I can run. In fact, It seems easier to run than walk. Except for the fact that my legs felt tired and trashed. That probably makes no sense. It does in my head though. Dog poo duty, and some yard work today. BooHooPoo. Good times. |

| | Really cold at first. Ended up taking my gloves off and then putting them back on at the end. Ran past the buffalo and up Highland. Lots of dog people walking their dogs today. Almost a creepy amount. Could have been a strange beginning to a horror movie. Good times. |

Run in the snow. I actually like that if there's not too much slush. I like the snow on my eyelashes. 10 lb. lower body slimdown on demand. Only bc I love not being able to sit on the toilet. :) Also my boys watched me do this and told me I have a really fat stomach. Which is sweet of them. Of course I told them its all of their fault. Bc I'm mature like that.

| | Woke up with a headache and had to take the girls to the ortho. So I took some advil, drank some caffeine and got a late start. Ran the first mile at 9:25 but it felt like I was going 11:30. My head was hurting so I started to walk. Annoyed with that, I decided to sprint for a minute an walk for a minute. Did that for two miles. Then slowed the run down to a jog/walk then sprinted up the hill by Falcon Park and jogged home. Turned out to be a pretty good workout. Good times.

| | Tres. I still feel pukey. I never actually throw up, but I just feel nauseous. Hubby and son have felt the same way for about a week now. WTC. Felt decent on the run for the most part. Have a bajillion things to do today. My oldest turns 14 tomorrow. I'm old. Good Times. |

| | Tried to run. Had to stop at a corner and walk home bc of the nausea. Came home and did lower body on demand. Plus 15 min. of upper body. So I can do stuff, I just can't really get my heart rate up too high I guess. Its a frustrating flu-ish bc it just lingers. I go about my everyday activities and then I will need to sit down bc of the unsettled stomach. Almost wish it would just hit hard and be over with in a few days. Guess I should be careful what I wish for. Still, I did get a workout in regardless so TAKE THAT flu-ish!

| | Wow. I actually felt better today on my run then I have in a looong time. Which is really good for my confidence bc I was starting to wonder what in the crap was wrong with me. Have a bunch to do today but so glad I made the decision to run a bit first. Have I told you lately how grateful I am to have running in my life?? I know. Broken record. GT |

| | wow..What day is it?? Been dealing with a lot of things lately. Then I got sick. Now my daughter is sick. I'm taking her to the Dr. right soon to check for ear infection and strep throat. For the Love. Seriously..Hopefully tomorrow, I feel good enough to get back out there. I watch runners and it feels like I used to do that a really long time ago. I need to remind my body & mind that I still like to run! Or do I..Maybe Ive just been tricking myself for 3 years. Or 4. However long its been.
