Short-Term Running Goals:

Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent.  Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me.  Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

Went on the dimple dell horse trail with Scott for the first 3 miles. It was hard running through the snow, I worry about rolling my ankle or something bc I'm not used to it. But I could feel muscles working that I don't normally feel so that was good. Then Scott drove home and I ran the long way home. Felt really good, I was happy to be back on asphalt and I was so happy to be running in warm weather.

My arch on my right foot was hurting on and off. What is that? I think its bc I haven't been putting my inserts in the Brooks when I run on those. I guess I better start doing it. Anyway, Happy Running!!

Nicerun Lysa! I bet you "liked" it.

Is Scott training for something?

From Lysa on Sat, Jan 15, 2011 at 15:03:25 from 50.8.74.241

I did "Like" it you spaz. And Scott is debating on if he is training for something. He is maybe thinking SL half, but really he just went to the Dr. for a physical and was told he needs to start exersising bc he has high blood pressure. He is working on up-ing the mileage. But has issues with his knee. He said that it already feels so much better than it did the first 3 miler, so thats good.

I need to enjoy the fact that I have him beat on distance at least for a while longer. Then he will leave me in the dust just like everyone else does.

I was hoping Scott would run SL. Maybe he can drag me to a good PR for the half!
