Short-Term Running Goals:

Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent.  Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me.  Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

Keep Running and  Never Give up!

Slow easy 5. 10:11 avg. My mileage this summer has been poopy and I'm feeling it for sure. But really, I'm not that concerned about it. Its kind of been nice to just go with the flow. I bought some chaco flip flops at the running store yesterday. Ive never paid so much for flip flops in my life. Luckily they were on sale but even on sale they were pricey. I'm thinking that I need a little more arch support to walk around during the day then my old navy flip flops give me. Hoping it helps the PF a bit. Still focusing on mid-strike. I have to consciously think about it and I definitely forget. But its all good.

Nice 5er! Those flip flops sound comfy. Isn't chaco close to a bad word though?

nice running, lysa.

while chacos *are* expensive, they will last forever. i have two pairs of them that i bought when i was 16 and they are still going strong. very little wear and tear on them and i wear them nearly every day (even in the winter). hopefully they will be helpful for your PF.

allie, That's nice to know about the chacos bc I had some serious buyers remorse over them. Now that I know that yours have lasted so long, I may just have to go buy another color so I have two! :)
