Short-Term Running Goals:

Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent.  Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me.  Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

Keep Running and  Never Give up!

I can't seem to get out of this rut, which is making me more worried about Ragnar. I have been putting this cream on my face for pre-cancer spots. Its supposed to bring out all of the spots underneath the skin layer and after a few weeks they are supposed to flake off and be gone. {I have a million of them and I look like I have a horrible case of acne}  Its just a preventative cream. These spots are called AK's and only 5% of them turn into squamous cell carsenoma {skin cancer} well I'm part of that 5%. ugh. Anyway, I just read the side effects online and it said 'fatigue, headaches, flu-like symptoms. So now I'm wondering if its the cream that is making me have these bad runs & feel worn down. So I think I will get off of it until after Ragnar.Which stinks bc its a two week process and I will be messing it up. I just want to get it over with. Anyway, I'm sure you are grateful for the personal novel I just gave you..sorry. Maybe I won't  quit it now..I don't know. I'm good at making decisions can you tell?

I think its weird that cream could cause physical side effects. But apparently it does.

Maybe after ragnar you can get a new prescription and start over. Nice job running in spite of the side effects.

I just went in to the Doc. and showed him my face. He laughed and said "could be worse" then he gave me the go ahead to stop and then start again on Sun. Now I just need to decide if I want to just bite the bullet, finish the next 7 days hope for the best, or deal with it again all of next week when I'm in Bear Lake. Decisions decisions.

don't I know that Doc? I can picture him laughing. Every time I go in he tells me about the next cruise he's going on.

You go to Orme, I go to his PA Gordon Day. I just like his personality better. Orme is always trying to sell me product so I don't go to him anymore.

no I think I see Day. Old man, skinny, nice. Ya he's always telling me about his cruises.

From Lysa on Mon, Jun 13, 2011 at 20:16:24 from 67.166.122.134

that's funny. He always tells me about how he goes up to his property in Heber and drinks whiskey.

My sis used that cream. She was siiiiick! She had all sorts of problems and it took care of the AK for a year or so and now they are back! Just stay off of it all together and just get them fried off!

From Lysa on Tue, Jun 14, 2011 at 11:27:09 from 67.166.122.134

Good to know Steam8, I got a cold sore from it last night..one of the side effects. Apparently my immune system is crap bc I keep getting every side effect possible. That cold sore {which I never have one in my life!} was the deciding factor..I'm DONE! stick a fork in me.
