Short-Term Running Goals: Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent. Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me. Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

| | Ran with Kathryn and Scott. I told them to run ahead and they stayed together the whole time. I could see them but they were pretty far off in the distance the whole time. It was fun. Obviously I struggled pretty bad but it was good when it was over.

| | Three. One with Kath around the hood. Then we picked up Randy back at home and ran hills down at Flat Iron. We ran up the pavement hills and then down and then we ran up the grass straight up, which I've never done before. ouch. That hurt. Then back home. Then we did some weights and jumped on the tramp. But I did more peeing on the tramp than anything else. So That was fun.
Make out.

| | Ran the hills at Flat Iron again. We weren't going to run at all but Randy woke up with energy and loved the day before and wanted to do it again. This time Scott came with us. So Kath and Scott did the pavement up and down hills while Randy and I ran up and down the grass hill. It was so hard. Holy crap. My butt and hamstrings were screaming at me. I was also feeling trashed from lack of sleep and the day before. But it was fun anyway. Randy and I joked that next time we're hiding sleds in the bushes so when Scott and Kath run around the bottom and can see us, we'll start sledding down the hill instead of running. It sounded way more fun.
Scott and Kath aren't competitive people but they definitely wanted to keep up with each other too. Randy and I let them play their game and did our own thing. Still kicked my butt. I think running straight up the grass is harder in some ways than running up the paved hills.
Anyway..It's Monday and all I did today was mow the lawn, laundry, chill out. It's been awhile since I was able to just chill out. Make out.
