Short-Term Running Goals: Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent. Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me. Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

| | Actually don't know the distance but I ran for 20 minutes. Well that's not true either. I sprinted one minute on one minute off for twenty min. I watched Supernatural and Dean was killing demons in his sexy way so that was nice. Plus I was running off some stress so that was nice also. But I was wasted by the end..I'll try to do more tmrw. Longer.
Hunt Demons, Kill Monsters, The Family Business.
Bought new socks today.

| | Cam and Erin texted me and wanted me to meet them at the light. I was hesitant bc I know they're stronger than me right now and I didn't want to slow them down but they insisted. We ran up NC all the way to the top and then down the back way to their house. It was fun but I ended up talking the whole time so I was even slower than I would have been. But the good news is, I went further than I would have if I was alone. Felt really hard but really good. I guess I need accountability partners right now bc I'm weaksauce.

| | Three on the treadmill bc my music is broken. Must have music. Watched Pitch Perfect which is probs one of the awkagreater shows evah made. Felt good to sweat.
Ziggy was watching me and he kept running away and barking. I don't think he could figure out why I looked like I was moving forward but never getting to him. He was super confused.

| | One of those runs that one minute I would feel great and the next I would feel weak and horrible. Very inconsistent but felt good to be out.

| | Ran a mile and then ran into my friend and walked with her for awhile and then ran again home. Have lots of errands to run and then an ortho apt for the boys.

| | Ran the trail with Scott and around the NC area and then to the hill on Highland, down and back up and then home again. I felt unusually good today and since there are only about 3 of you that ever read this blog, I'm just going to say it...I run really really well when I'm ovulating. I know its a weird thing but I wish I could feel as good when that's going on all the time. I kicked the hills arse and Scott stayed with me the whole time. We stepped it up to an 8:30 avg the last few streets to back home. I can't keep that pace for long but that's more around his normal. His norm is 9:10 avg but goes faster when he feels it. I felt like I was sprinting so I kind of blows my mind that you people can keep that up for miles. Anyway..new shoes are in the mail and I couldn't be happier about that . They're turquoise and coral. Pretty!!

| | NEWSHOES! They're not turquoise and coral, they're mint and coral. They're pretty. It was really nice to run on new shoes. I have to mess with the laces until they're just right but it was nice to feel the support that I've been missing.
