My first 1/2 Aug. 9, 2008 2:16.12

2008- I ran a 10K and a couple of 5K's  I guess you could say I'm a newborn runner.

2009- Finished the Hobble Creek 1/2 and the Provo River 1/2  And have done 3 more 5k's

2010 Got my PR with the Salt Lake City 1/2 marathon!!

2010 Ran my first marathon!! TOU! Woo Woo!

2011 ran the Salt Lake 1/2 with my brother. Then a few 5k's

2012  Salmon Marathon
 

 

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent.  Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me.  Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

I'm still dragging. I feel like my body is numb and my face is asleep. I know that sounds weird but I had to stop and rub snow on my face just to feel 'with it.'. I'm still coughing a lot while I'm running too. Windy facing South, but not like the other day. Felt good even though I feel like I never woke up. Happy Running.

P.S.-Stacie, I ran up the hill by Falcon today. Everytime I run up that hill or past that park I think of our beginning running days. When we would run 3 miles around that park everyday, sweating and stopping for drinks of water. {remember when your water bottle got stolen and we were so mad?} And I think about how we used to watch people run up that hill and think that we would never be able to do that.

Wow! Good job running 8! I remember those days. Just last week when I was running the hills at flat iron I too was remembering when I saw some girls running those hills and thought "wow, how do they do that?"
