My first 1/2 Aug. 9, 2008 2:16.12

2008- I ran a 10K and a couple of 5K's  I guess you could say I'm a newborn runner.

2009- Finished the Hobble Creek 1/2 and the Provo River 1/2  And have done 3 more 5k's

2010 Got my PR with the Salt Lake City 1/2 marathon!!

2010 Ran my first marathon!! TOU! Woo Woo!

2011 ran the Salt Lake 1/2 with my brother. Then a few 5k's

2012  Salmon Marathon
 

 

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent.  Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me.  Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

Had to take Izzy to cheer bright and early, so I came home and put on the running clothes before I thought about it too much. Felt surprisingly good and stayed in the 10's on avg. High tens, but still tens. I was actually surprised bc it felt like I was running 12 m.m. Hard running when I'm supposed to be sleeping. 
Going to the Bees game tonight with kids. play ball. Just got back from Costco. yay shopping.

Took Bill to cheer and then went running. I was reallly tired so I didn't know how it would go but it went better than I thought. Still ran really slow but I ran. It was nice bc the sun wasn't up over the mountain until the very end so I didn't need sunglasses. Quite a few people out that time of day. More construction workers. They're like mosquitoes at a river. They're everywhere. Make out

Just wasn't feeling it today. Scott and I were going to run from the top of the trail to home and then he changed his mind and wanted to run around the hood by himself so he could go fast. I didn't really care but I should have run from the top of the trail home bc it was hot and windy and I'm really tired. Going to bed too late to get up at 5:30 am. The trail would have ensured me at least 3 bc I have no other choice but to run home. But running around the hood, It's easier to just turn around and think "know what sounds nice right now? a shower and my bed.."

Ran with Scott He ran ahead then ran back to me and then ahead again etc and so on. D-bag. 
It was hot and I'm sweating like crazy. Showering, running errands and then my friend offered her cabin to us tonight so we're taking her up on it. Just overnight. Cabin's in Kamas right down the street from my parents old cabin I grew up with so I'm excited!! Make out
