Short-Term Running Goals:

Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent.  Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me.  Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

Ran in the heat with Ozzy. Babysitting him again. He pulled me for the first mile but did pretty good in that, he didn't need to stop and smell everything etc. I ran him up the hill on Highland and when we got back in the hood I stopped at some water in the gutter from sprinklers and asked him if he wanted a drink. He sat in it instead. :) ding dong. They're all ding dongs. Weights yo. Make out

good job finding a use for wasted sprinkler water. if i can imagine that there is a ding dong dog out there that can cool off in those puddles, maybe it won't make me so angry to see cement/gutter/asphalt/people watering.

nice run.

What kind of beast is Ozzy? He makes some of the weirdest sounds.

He's a beast called dingdongidiocybutcuteinanuglywaydog.

If he hears anything in the distance with a siren, he howls at it until it goes away. It's very annoying. Gretchen use to live right by the fire dept until they moved a few streets over and she spent her days yelling at him to be quiet. So if you hear that sound..that's why. I used to try and run downstairs to let him in so he would be quiet and not disturb the neighbors but I've given up. Now I just let him howl away for a few minutes and roll my eyes.
