Short-Term Running Goals:

Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent.  Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me.  Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

Keep Running and  Never Give up!

Personal:

What's wrong with 5?

I wanna get some YakTrax or Snowtrax (Costco) so I'll feel more safe running outside. I just know I'll fall and break something.

Good job for 7+ miles! Were you out between 9 and 10 by chance?

Stacie, Yes I was, why? did you see me? Nothing is wrong with 5 miles! 5 miles is more miles then I used to be able to run, Its just I feel like I need to be stepping it up more sometimes. I saw those things at Costco, do you think they really work?

JD, Yes. Yes it is.

Puddy was missing you:)You know I'm kidding about the 5 miles. My pediatrician is a trail runner and told me about the trax. Said they work. I wonder if anyone on this blog uses them?

Good job Lysa! It is kind of tricky to navigate the ice patches! I would also like to know if anyone uses any of the items you mentioned. I would think they would be hard to run in. But then ice is hard to run in too! :)

ugh, sorry Stacie, he can be such a pest! I need to remember to leave him inside when I'm gone.
