Short-Term Running Goals:

Maybe run a few more marathons?? Stay healthy, motivated and consistent.  Races are fun, but unlike the hokey pokey, its not what its all about for me.  Its about health, sanity and feeling great about myself bc I can call myself a runner. :)

Keep Running and  Never Give up!

Personal:

Married, 4 kids, started running to lose mommy weight and have alone time. Now I run bc of EVERYTHING

strength, sanity, awareness, confidence, attitude, health, peace, life, and Because I CAN

Ya know, I'm really sick of running up Newcastle and back down. I need to start going some new ways. Felt good to get out, It's awfully brown out there. Its Monday. House is a mess, kids are gone, happy day. Happy running.

I took Josie on a little walk while it was blue skies and sunny. Didn't realize how much I miss that. Good job going out!

lysa & stacie - any interest in running millcreek canyon sometime?

i agree that it is awfully brown out there. and the fluffy white snow has turned to black shards of polluted ice. i love winter so much!

It is kind of ugly when the snow melts (aside from the huge dirty mounds). But the sun is so NICE!!!

ENJOY YOUR WEEK. Head the opposite direction of Newcastle, that is a HILL.

Kelli, ya Ive done that so many times too. I think I need to just drive somewhere soon and go in a completely new neighborhood. Although, It is nice to be on auto-pilot too.

Allie, YES! would love to! But one question, how does that work when you run 5.5 minute miles and I run 10 minute miles??:) I think it would be fun though!

JD, just another manic, brown, happy Monday.

From Kelli on Wed, Dec 08, 2010 at 22:13:31 from 71.219.66.85

ANYTIME, anywhere. I love City Creek....

Now, Lysa and Stacie, I had to drive to Eastmont Middle School tonight for my daughter's dress rehearsal for ballet and I was so grateful I do not have to deal with that traffic. I was cursing at every driver, my poor 5 year old heard things she should never have to here. Once I made it back to the west side, my blood pressure dropped significantly and I returned to the nice, sane me.

I miss those mountains, BUT GEESH, there are so many people out there. And every flippin' road was under construction!!
